Choose the option that best matches what you would realistically do.

How scoring works

The game rewards balance, not deprivation.

Each situation includes three different approaches. The strongest score usually goes to a choice that protects a clear priority while reducing waste. An extreme answer may save more on paper but earn fewer awareness points if it is difficult to sustain.

What your result can—and cannot—tell you

Your score can help you notice decision patterns. It cannot know your income, bills, family needs, health, transportation options, or values. Treat the dollar figures as conversation starters, then use your actual numbers in the calculators.

Make the game useful

Turn one good answer into one real action.

The challenge is intentionally short. Its job is not to create a complete budget. Instead, it helps you rehearse the pause between a cost and a decision. When one scenario feels especially familiar, choose a single follow-up step:

Why the scenarios change

Money decisions repeat, but the context changes. A daily mix may include subscriptions, groceries, transportation, utilities, convenience spending, or planning ahead. Seeing different categories makes it harder to assume that every problem has the same answer. Sometimes canceling is sensible. Sometimes paying for convenience protects time or health. Sometimes the useful move is simply to check the real number.

Privacy and local storage

The game does not ask for your name, bank information, income, or account login. Your answer selections are processed in your browser. A small record of the date, score, and streak is saved in your browser's local storage so the site can remember whether you played today. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser data.
